Do not think you can ever stop Mother Nature. Here are some of the pictures of the devastation Midwest Equipment experienced with the collapse of the roof over our offices on Wednesday, December 9, 2009. The downspouts clogged up, and with the several inches of rain we had on Tuesday night/Wenesday morning, the roof just collapsed in on itself. The good news...no one was there, so no one got hurt. Please know that we are still in business, we moved to the back and are operating out of there untill the insurance company gives us permission to rebuild. Your orders are on their way, so no worries ! I need to thank the following people:
Our team here at Midwest Equipment. They did not complain, just got to work making sure our customers were taken care of. I have the finest team in the U.S. here at Midwest. I could not do it without them.
PBSI: This is our software company. They contacted us Wednesday morning and offered free office space, computers, telephones, staff to help us, etc. Thanks to Ray Cool and his team for the generous offer.
Our vendors: Thanks for the kind words of encouragement. They mean a lot to us in these difficult times.
Our Customers: We work so hard for you. We would not be here without our great customers, so thanks to you, we will emerge from this adversity stronger than ever.
February 15, 2010.....Well, with the snow we have had (more than ever in recent memory), we have not started construction yet. I have been assured that the builder is pre-fabing a lot of the walls in the comfort of his shop, so I guess progress is being made, we just can't see it yet. We have also run into some clarification problems with the building department of Blue Ash, but I think those are resolved now. So, onward and upward. We will post more information as we get it.
