The Design Enhancements
We asked the representative of Midwest Equipment – one of the best online stores for mechanical parts and electronic items – about the details regarding the design enhancements of this soon to be launched updated variety.
Here is what he had to say, “The Company is coming up with a unified contact block for the IDEC 22mm switches. It’s an improved quality of the contact block. We’re also introducing several more innovative designs starting from April 3, 2018 which are enhancements to our HW 22mm and TW series of switch products.
He continued giving us the details about these designs saying, “This innovative variety includes the latest HW-U i.e. universal contact block in order to replace the existing variety of HW-F – finger safe, HW-C – exposed screw, and HW-G – spring up type contact blocks. In addition to that, our new launch includes the upgraded voltage adapters and transformers for illuminated switches.”
The Features of Universal Contact Blocks
We discussed the key features of this new universal type contact block with the representative of Midwest Equipment. He said, “At the top my mind, the basic features of the universal type contact block include its spring up terminals, side entries for wiring and its gold-plated option. Also, it has a finger safe IP20 rating.”
The Advantages of Universal Contact Blocks
The representative of Midwest Equipment shared some advantages of the soon to be launched universal contact block. Here’s what he said, “The basic advantages of this latest universal type contact block include its ability to accept both ring and fork terminals, its identical ratings and agency approvals just like it is in the existing blocks, and above all it will protect users from accidental electrical shocks so there’s no need to derate them.”
About the Company
